What is Delta 8 THC?

Delta 8 THC, also referred to as D8, Delta 8, Δ8 THC, and Delta 8 Tetrahydrocannabinol, is an isomer of cannabidiol or “CBD”. It is another type of cannabinoid found in the hemp plant like CBD, CBG, CBC, CBDv, and so on. Despite its name, it does not have the same kind of intoxicating effects as Delta 9 THC. While it can alter and elevate your mood, it is far less intoxicating and much more functional than Delta 9 THC. It can give a moderate “buzz” but without the same levels of intoxication, anxieties, or paranoias typically associated with Delta 9 THC.

Is Delta 8 THC Legal?

Yes, Delta 8 THC is Federally Legal. The 2018 Farm Bill §297A specifically made all derivatives, isomers, and cannabinoids in hemp legal, provided the final product has less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC, it also includes an amendment to the Controlled Substances Act, explicitly removing all tetrahydrocannabinols found in hemp. Delta 8 THC is an isomer of CBD, a derivative of hemp and CBD, a cannabinoid found in hemp, and is ultimately contained in our extracts with less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC.

What Battery is Compatible with Skyhio Delta 8 THC Vapes?

Our Delta 8 THC vape cartridges are compatible to a 510 compatible battery. You will need to have a 510 compatible battery. Batteries are not included with our vapes and must be purchased separately.

Why Isn't My Cartridge Working?

If your cartridge isn’t hitting, it is probably for one of these easily-fixable reasons: 

The cartridge is on too tight.

Remove your cartridge completely. Then, re-screw it onto your pen, stopping as soon as you meet resistance. 

The voltage is wrong.

Check the voltage settings on your battery. Increase as needed. 

The cartridge is clogged.

Delta 8 is so thick its vapor will often times stick to the sides of the airway out of the mouthpiece, over time the vapor builds up more and more upon itself until there is a total clog. The only real way to prevent this is by clearing all the vapor out of the airway at the end of the hit, but even then it’s not 100%. The best way to fix this is to get a paper clip and stick it down the airway and swirl it around the sides to remove all the oil. This should clear things up for you. The oil is also safe to eat if you want, but be careful in taking too much if you aren’t used to edibles! The average use for edibles is about 10-40 mg.

The cartridge won’t hit.

Delta 8 is very thick and may not have fully saturated the ceramic coil. Preheat the cartridge with the battery. For most versions, you click the button twice or hold down the button until the light blinks. If that doesn’t work, carefully warm the cartridge with a blow dryer. The heat will loosen the oil and soak into the coil. Start with small hits and gradually move to 2-3 second pulls.

The cart won’t hit because it is too full. 

Try to preheat the cartridge with your battery. Otherwise, carefully warm the cartridge with a hairdryer until the oil loosens. 

My Vape Cartridge Was Damaged or Broken

Why am I required to enter my age at checkout?

All vape cartridge purchases require age verification for retail customers only. Please follow the Age Verification step-by-step instructions at checkout. Some purchases may require proof of photo identification. For all questions regarding this, please contact our support team here.

Why do I need to sign for a vape cartridge delivery?

The US Government recently passed a piece of legislation known as the PACT Act. This new law additional requirements to the shipping of vape and tobacco products. Skyhio is complying fully with all new requirements from this and one of those requirements is that vape deliveries must be signed for upon delivery by USPS.

Do you offer free shipping?

Orders without carts have a $4.99 shipping fee attached. However, if you order more than $99 worth of product, Skyhio will make your shipping free. USPS does not require signatures for packages that do not contain vape cartridges.

Orders with vape cartridges have a $15.99 shipping fee attached. However, if you order more than $149 worth of total product, that shipping also becomes free. Regardless of size, any order containing at least one cart will require a signature upon delivery.

Do you offer cold shipping?

Skyhio offers cold shipping. Cold shipping requires the use of FedEx Standard Overnight Shipping. Cold shipping is not available for purchases that include vape cartridges. Our edibles are not heat resistant in warmer temperatures. If you do not select cold shipping, your edibles are at a higher risk of melting while in transit.

What is “Error Code AVS-300” at checkout?

This error code typically happens when there is an issue with either the billing or shipping address. Please make sure the two are the same. If the problem isn’t solved, click here to contact our customer support.

When Will I Get My Tracking Number For My Shipment?

If you’ve already placed an order, you should receive one shortly. We send a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order heads your way.

I Never Received A Confirmation or Shipping Email
